To my good friend and team mate |
May 27, 2016 |
Jerry was brilliant, talented, a gifted individual with so much to give the world. He was always ready to take on the next challenge. I loved working with him. He was exactly between the ages of my two kids so was like a third son. That is why this has hit me so hard. I have not only lost a team mate, someone I have learned to respect and care for, but that he was the same age as my own children makes it even more difficult. So I can imagine what you as his parents, family, and close friends are going through.
I have lost one son and while my other son was in college, I did receive a phone call from the a doctor telling me that he was not expected to make it through the night. When you are 1500 miles away, that is hard news to take. Fortunately he did survive that night. I wish I could give that gift to you. I do know that God has him and he is waiting for us. We will see him again. That I believe with all my heart and soul.

So sorry for the loss of your amazing son |
May 26, 2016 |
Please believe Jerry made a difference in so many lives. He was such a special person to so many people. My life forever will changed because of my good friend.
I hope you can take some comfort in the thought that Jerry and his grandma are together. She held a very special place in his heart. We talked hours about life and families. Jerry loved his family.
I know there is nothing I can really say in this time of sorrow or understand your loss. But I do know that he was a very important person in my life and will be missed everyday.
What I have to believe is Jerry is free to be all that he wanted be....
Loved and lost too soon but never to be forgotton.
Love,
Cindy

Jerry had, something he jokingly referred to as "style", what he would always remind me of whenever I joked with him about his ties he would wear to work as an IT guy. I never knew and probably never will meet another IT guy with a tie.
He was true to himself and said what he thought. Sometimes he disagreed with me, well more often than not, but I enjoyed is counter views to mine. We still managed to go out for a beer or three.
What ever one should know are these facts:
1) Jerry was one of a half dozen techie hotshots who held a very difficult and historic fight test team together.
2) I could never verify but I believed him when he told me he worked in Hollywood and gave many ideas to script writers about good movies that he claimed he shared key details about.
3) He was good story teller and laughed at my jokes.
4) It not possible to describe the grief or loss in more words but I do know what it is like to lose part of the family at 30 something.
5) Peace and Kindness,
Kal Fultz
